This work poses a reflection about memory and loss in relation to the monument as an object of plastic and conceptual reflection. Leftovers and debris found on the beach are reorganized by the author so that reproduce some of the world’s most famous tourist monuments: the Parthenon in Athens, the Statue of Liberty in New York or the Pyramids of Egypt

These very same traces are left in the same place to interact with birds or visitors, the weather. The process of reconstruction and destruction is documented with photographs, and takes the form of misleading postcards to confuse the viewer. Memory, human footprints, overabundance, the preeminence of some iconographic assets and, ultimately, an ironic play on the very idea of civilization is what is derived from this particular work.
