A succession of reductions of the size of a Great Pyramid postcard placed one behind the other in such a way that the subject of the composition (pyramid) is always covered. The result is a succession of absences (the pyramid is always omitted) that leaves a trail in the sand. It is a covering that discovers it. The succession of backgrounds and foregrounds becomes the subject of the picture as missing subject. The trail left in the sand is the sediment of a bottomless disappearance without foreground.
