Finger prints, 2018-ongoing
The prints are made with the fingers pressing down every square inch of a paper surface until what is underneath appears. The trace left on the surface of the paper is barely perceptible:
a mosaic from Pompeii,
a megalith on a diner tablecloth,
lichens blending with the industrially produced paper pattern,
the smile of a human skull on a paper napkin.
