This diptych is a tribute to the Infinite Column of Brancusi, a sculpture that has been chosen as the emblem of modern sculpture due to the way it problematizes the relationship between sculpture and the space that surrounds it. In this case the artist makes a replica using empty containers collected in a public space in two photographs where the vertical of the original sculpture has its double in a troupe l’oeil done in a horizontal distance of 200 meters. The bottom photograph is framed in diagonal appealing to the movement toward the horizontal.
